I grew up in Jefferson, Ohio, a small town just across the OH/PA border. My father was a dentist, my grandfather an old-school doctor who delivered around 3,000 babies in our county, and my other grandfather a veterinarian. Witnessing their dedication inspired me to bring back small-town medicine to Fairview and Erie, PA.
My journey in medicine began at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, where I developed a passion for Sports Medicine. I completed my family medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship.
During my fellowship, I worked with athletes of all levels and served on a committee evaluating medical fitness for Cleveland Indians draft prospects. I had the privilege of working with the Cleveland Cavaliers' medical staff during their first finals appearance, serving as a team physician for Baldwin Wallace College for three years, and multiple high schools during my 9.5 years at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.
In 2020, my wife Brittney and I moved to Fairview, PA. We both enjoy golfing and outdoor activities such as running, mountain biking, skiing, and various sports. We are blessed with three young children: Andrew, Vivian, and Christopher (CJ).
