Sharon Diamond-Myrsten, MD

Dr. Sharon Diamond-Myrsten is a board-certified family physician at Piedmont Direct Primary Care in Troy, Virginia, where she has cared for patients across the central Virginia area since 2004.

Her background spans community health clinics and a faculty role at the University of Virginia, and in every setting she has made real face-to-face time with patients a priority so she can listen closely and build a treatment plan together with them. Teaching became a lasting passion during her years on the UVA faculty, and she carries that same instinct into her exam room, walking patients through current, evidence-based thinking behind their care so they come away feeling informed rather than talked at.
