Paul Thomas, MD

Paul Thomas is the founder of Plum Health DPC in Detroit. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he now serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, teaching alongside running his own practice.

His work is guided by a belief that healthcare should be personalized, preventive, and comprehensive rather than rushed and reactive. That conviction led him to write on the subject himself, including a book titled Direct Primary Care, The Cure for Our Broken Healthcare System, along with a second book, Startup DPC, aimed at helping other doctors build practices of their own.
