About Katie Dunbar
Katie Dunbar founded Prairie Rose Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice in Coralville. She was drawn to the model after experiencing its benefits firsthand as a patient, and that experience convinced her there was a better way to practice medicine.
By keeping her patient panel small, Dunbar can spend real time with each person she sees, listen closely, and get to know their story rather than rushing through a visit. She sees this as the foundation for better health outcomes over time.
With more face-to-face time built into every appointment, her focus stays on compassionate, personalized care and on partnering with patients as they work through their own health journey.
