Justine DeCastro, MD

Dr. Justine DeCastro is a board-certified family medicine physician with Premier Health & Wellness in Mount Pleasant. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and her medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She then completed her family medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and became board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. A Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Air Force sent her to Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she served as a Captain and General Medical Officer.

She has stayed active in the local medical community ever since, serving as President of the Charleston County Medical Society, Medical Director at Curana Health, and Supervising Physician for Whole Heart Family Medicine and the Kadima Center for Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention. While with Sewee Family Medicine, she was named Best Primary Care Physician in Mt Pleasant Magazine. She was later recognized as a Leader in Health and Medicine in Healthlinks Magazine's Women in Health edition.
