Justine DeCastro, MD

Dr Justine DeCastro is the owner and founder of Harborside Healthcare where she offers a hybrid of on-site and virtual primary care providing direct access and communication with your physician. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and her medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Air Force and served as a Captain and General Medical Officer at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport Louisiana. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Dr. DeCastro is actively involved in the local medical community. She currently serves as President of the Charleston County Medical Society. She was awarded Best Primary Care Physician and Best Primary Care Practice at Sewee Family Medicine in Mt Pleasant Magazine in 2020. She is recognized as a Leader in Health and Medicine in the 2026 Women in Health edition of Healthlinks Magazine. She also serves as a Medical Director at Curana Health and as the Supervising Physician for Whole Heart Family Medicine and the Kadima Center for Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention.
