Tim Kruse, MD

Dr. Tim Kruse is a family medicine physician at Premier Medical Center in Basalt, Colorado. He has practiced family medicine in the Roaring Fork Valley since 1999, and along the way served as chairman of the Department of Medicine and on the Medical Care Evaluation Committee at Valley View Hospital.

Before opening his own practice in 2006, he served on the executive committee at his former practice. After attending the first national conference on concierge medicine in 2005, and at the encouragement of many of his patients, he opened the first concierge medicine practice in Colorado outside the Denver area.

He sees the model as a way to go above and beyond for his patients, acting as their advocate and connecting them with the care and resources they need. For him, the real benefit of the practice comes down to time, since a lack of it forces shortcuts and breeds mediocrity, and there's no substitute for time when the goal is medical excellence.
