Dr. Todd Granger is an internal medicine specialist and founder of Primus Internal Medicine. He has been in medical practice for over twenty years in the Chapel Hill / Chatham County area, with a wide range of experience in both outpatient and hospital settings.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and his training and experience have equipped him to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical illnesses including diseases of the heart and blood vessels, brain and nervous system, lungs, stomach, intestines and liver, kidneys and bladder, skin, immune system, and endocrine glands.
He has wide experience in women's and men's health issues, including diagnosis and treatment, prevention and screening, and wellness promotion.
Though he has lived in the area since 1989, he is originally a native of central Louisiana. He took his undergraduate degree at Tulane University in 1985, earned his medical doctorate at Washington University in St. Louis in 1989, and completed an internal medicine residency and a year-long clinical research fellowship in cardiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1993.
In 1993 he joined Chatham Medical Specialists in Siler City, remaining until 2007. From 2007 to 2014 he practiced at Chapel Hill Internal Medicine. In 2014, he took a sabbatical to pursue a master's degree in theological studies at Nashotah House seminary in Wisconsin. He returned to medical practice in late 2016 and opened Primus Internal Medicine.
