Rabab Jafri, MD

Dr. Rabab Jafri is a triple board certified pediatric endocrinologist at Progressive Endocrinology in Cedar Park, certified in pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, and obesity medicine. She completed her pediatric residency in Chicago before moving to Boston for an endocrinology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Diabetes research has shaped much of her career. She presented her findings at several American Diabetes Association meetings and later studied diabetes wearables, including work on the iLet Bionic Pancreas, which has since earned FDA approval.

In her practice, she sees pediatric patients with a wide range of endocrine concerns. A growing number of young patients with excessive weight gain led her to pursue certification in obesity medicine and bring those principles into her care.

Dr. Jafri lives in Austin, where she enjoys traveling, tending her growing garden, and spending time with her family.
