About Rabab Jafri

Dr. Jafri is triple board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine. After completing her pediatric residency in Chicago, she moved to Boston for an endocrinology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School.

She was extensively involved with diabetes related clinical research, presenting her findings at several meetings of the American Diabetes Association. After fellowship, she continued her studies on diabetes wearables, specifically the development of the iLet Bionic Pancreas which is now FDA approved.

She provides care to pediatric patients presenting with a wide variety of endocrine concerns, including a growing number of youth with excessive weight gain. This prompted her to seek certification in Obesity Medicine and apply those principles in her clinical practice.

Based in Austin, TX, Dr. Jafri enjoys traveling, exploring her growing garden, and spending time with her family.
