Said Awad, MD, MBA

Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician Dr. Said Awad, MD, MBA, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than twelve years of clinical experience and a well-respected reputation as a leader in patient care, medical education, and community service. A Tampa native, Dr. Awad brings a personal commitment to caring for the community that shaped him, offering a style of practice rooted in compassion, clear communication, and long-term patient relationships. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida and completed his Doctor of Medicine at the AUA College of Medicine, graduating with honors. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency with the University of South Florida at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, where his passion for leadership and teaching began to grow. Dr. Awad also holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management and Healthcare Administration from Plymouth State University. Dr. Awad currently serves as the Program Director for an Internal Medicine Residency Program and holds academic appointments as a Core Faculty Member and Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. Fluent in English and Arabic, he has cared for a diverse patient population and is well-versed in preventive, acute, and chronic care. Patients know him for his open communication style, his unrushed visits, and his commitment to building meaningful, long-term patient-provider relationships. In addition to internal medicine, Dr. Awad provides aesthetic medicine services and offers Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), expanding his clinical scope to support patient confidence, wellness, and overall vitality. Outside the clinic, Dr. Awad enjoys traveling, exploring new foods, fishing, staying active through mixed martial arts, exercise, weightlifting, and spending time outdoors. His personal dedication to balance and wellbeing reflects the same Pure Life philosophy he encourages in his patients.
