About Rutvic Amin

Dr. Rutvic Amin is a double board certified physician in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care at Rainari Health in Rochester. He brings more than 20 years of clinical experience across primary care, emergency medicine, and inpatient hospital care.

He started his career as a primary care physician at Reynolds Army Medical Center in Oklahoma, treating 25 to 30 patients a day. From there he moved into busy outpatient practices and provided inpatient care in Florida at Westside Regional Medical Center and Broward General Medical Center. He later served as a senior hospitalist at Rochester General Hospital, taking on leadership roles including Lead Physician for the Group Portal and a seat on the governance board, and continued emergency and observation unit care through the COVID pandemic.

Dr. Amin also works as a health and life coach. He is the father of three young children and helps look after his aging parents.
