Heather is the lead provider at Refine Medical, offering personalized, patient-centered care through a direct primary care model. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting improvements in their health and wellness through proactive, relationship-driven medical care. Heather earned her Master of Physician Associate Studies from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is board-certified and remains committed to lifelong learning, most recently earning her certification in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). Heather brings extensive experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, and plastic surgery. This diverse background allows her to address a wide range of health concerns with skill and confidence. As someone living with type 1 diabetes, Heather brings personal insight and empathy to chronic disease management. Her approach emphasizes prevention, education, and empowering patients to take control of their long-term health. Heather chose the direct primary care model to provide more meaningful, unhurried care.
