About Sharon McCoy George

Dr. George has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. She is triple-boarded in Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine, and has trained as a life coach. Her undergrad degree is from Northwestern University in Human Development and Social Policy, with a concentration in Public Health. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society and graduated magna cum laude from University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency training at the University of Washington in Seattle. She also has a Master of Pastoral Studies degree from Loyola University of Chicago.

She previously had a membership practice called Renaissance Family Medicine in Irvine, CA, and has mentored resident physicians and medical students at the University of California, Irvine, University of California, Davis, and Washington University of St. Louis. While she hails from the Midwest originally, Dr. George now lives with her husband in Napa Valley. She is a gardener and the mother of two adult daughters. She enjoys growing grapes and making wine with her husband. Together they have a mini-goldendoodle named Oakley and two ocicats named Willow and Cedar.
