Payal Jhawar, MD

Dr. Payal Jhawar is the Founder and CEO of Revive M.D. Direct Primary Care, a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician and member of the American College of Physicians.

She grew up in a small town in rural Connecticut and completed her Bachelor's degree at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, then attended St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada.

After earning her M.D., Dr. Jhawar moved to Springfield, Massachusetts and completed her Internal Medicine Residency program at Baystate Medical Center, a Tufts University program.

She started her primary care career at Hartford Healthcare Medical Group in 2013, then moved to Florida in 2015 and joined Manatee Physician Alliance in Lakewood Ranch where she spent 4 years providing primary care and became a recipient of the Wellmed Exceptional Patient Care Award and Top Internist in 2020.

Frustrated with administrators valuing rushed visits and insurance companies dictating medical decision making, she decided to open Revive MD Direct Primary Care in Bradenton in 2020, combining her telemedicine experience with her passion for patient-centered, affordable primary care.
