Mandy DeMeritt, NP

Mandy DeMeritt is a nurse practitioner at Rincon Health Direct Primary Care in Tucson, treating patients of all ages in family practice.

She grew up in South Dakota and earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing with honors from South Dakota State University. In 2008 she moved to Tucson to begin her nursing career, working in labor and delivery, cardiovascular ICU, radiology, plastics, hand surgery, and neurology. Later, she attended the University of Colorado, where she completed her Master's of Science in Nursing with honors, graduating in 2015 and moving into family practice from there.

She believes all people have intrinsic value and that people can and do change, and her goal is to educate and empower the people in her care toward healthier lives. A wife to a supportive husband and a proud mother of four, she loves spending quality time with family and friends.
