Dr. Hakeem's undergraduate training was in philosophy before completing his medical degree and dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
During training, he noticed modern medicine often manages pathology but struggles to prevent or reverse chronic disease, while guidelines project more certainty than the evidence earns.
Dr. Hakeem's grounding in rigorous statistics, Bayesian epistemology, and the history of failed mechanistic treatments led him to demonstrate that much of modern "advanced" wellness is mathematically unsound.
Dr. Hakeem founded RiverRock Medical to apply clear reasoning to a clearer target: health as the mental and physical capacity to execute a meaningful life.
