Alisa Awtry, MD

Alisa Awtry practices evidence-based family medicine at Rooted Direct Primary Care in Newberg, Oregon. She completed medical school at UC San Diego and a residency in family medicine at the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency.

After practicing in traditional healthcare settings, Awtry chose to leave corporate medicine so she could build a practice centered on the relationship between physician and patient. That focus on evidence-based care and genuine connection with patients shapes how she runs her days at Rooted.

She calls Newberg home and spends her time outside the office hiking, camping, biking, and throwing pottery.
