Dr. Chris Imperial practices family medicine at Rooted Family Health in Bryan. Raised in a family of seven in a small Texas town, he learned early on the value of caring for every member of a busy household, and having two physician parents helped shape his path into medicine.
He earned his undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio, then went on to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where he received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. His training centered on whole health and holistic care, and he has carried forward the osteopathic view that the body can heal itself but sometimes needs support along the way.
His residency in family medicine took him and his family to Kingston, New York, before they made their way back to the Texas community they loved.
