Lon Manson, MD

Dr. Lon Manson is a board-certified family physician, certified through the NBPAS, at RootMD in Indialantic, Florida. He grew up in Oregon's Willamette Valley, studied at Gonzaga as an undergraduate, and earned his medical degree from USC. A year as a head and neck surgical intern led into a family medicine residency at UC San Diego, followed by five years as a primary care provider at Scripps Clinic.

Feeling boxed in by an insurance-based system that left little room for comprehensive, prevention-first care, he started RootMD to put the doctor-patient relationship first. Longevity and health-span interest him deeply, along with helping people who have been told there's nothing wrong with them find real answers.

He and his wife brought their two young children to her home state of Florida, and Indialantic is now home. His feet find the ocean and his hands find the garden whenever he can manage it.
