Catherine Sinclair, MD

Catherine Sinclair is a double board-certified pediatrician at Roots & Wings Pediatrics in Columbus, Ohio. Raising three kids of her own, she knows firsthand that they never get sick at a convenient time, and that experience shaped why she opened the practice, to make evidence-based medical care simpler for families to reach.

A Charleston, West Virginia native, she went to UNC-Chapel Hill for an undergraduate degree in Recreation Administration and Leisure Studies, then spent several years working in that field before deciding she wanted more of an intellectual challenge. She completed medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2009 and a pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2012.

From there she worked as a pediatric hospitalist and Complex Care physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the surrounding regional hospitals, a role she held until 2023, when Roots & Wings Pediatrics opened its doors.
