Abigail DeVries, MD

Dr. Abigail DeVries is a board-certified family physician and menopause society certified practitioner at Sabia Health, PLLC in Durham. She has spent more than two decades in medicine, caring for patients directly while also leading clinical teams and helping shape health systems across North Carolina and the country. Her experience spans public health, value-based care, and population health.

That range of experience is what led her to open Sabia Health. She had noticed a pattern among women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who came in with real concerns, things like fatigue, mood changes, brain fog, weight gain, low libido, or painful sex and urinary incontinence. Too often they left being told everything looked normal, with no real plan. Her approach pairs rigorous, evidence-based medicine with attention to lifestyle, hormones, and prevention, and she gives patients the time and listening those issues deserve. She practices in both English and Spanish.
