Mark Ryan, MD

Mark Ryan is the founder of Sanctuary Family Medicine, a direct primary care practice in Richmond.

He created the practice to build a space where he could connect deeply with his patients and be part of their community. That approach grew out of more than two decades spent caring for low-income and historically marginalized communities, experience that shaped the kind of doctor he wanted to be.

At Sanctuary Family Medicine, that same commitment carries into the relationships he builds with the people he treats.
