Dr. Charles Sasser didn't begin his career in medicine. Growing up in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, he graduated from LSU in 1993 and embarked on a 16-year military career: first as a Marine, then transferring to the Air Force, flying aircraft such as the AH-1W Cobra and the F-15 Eagle.
