Peter Olson, MD

Dr. Peter Olson is a board-certified internist and Fellow of the American College of Physicians at Seattle Medical Associates in Seattle. His training spans the full breadth of adult internal medicine. He completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital, part of Northwell Health and affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University, and later added an Executive MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. He also holds board certification in Obesity Medicine, which shapes how he treats chronic disease, prevention, and metabolic health together.

Olson's background includes years of primary care at Providence Swedish, where he went on to serve as System Chief of Medicine and Chief of Medicine at both the First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses. Most recently, he served as National Medical Director at Crossover Health, overseeing a national network of primary care clinics. He teaches as well, as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Washington State University and a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

A lifelong Pacific Northwesterner who grew up in the Lake Forest Park area, Olson now lives in Seattle with his wife and children. With a young family of his own and aging parents to look after, he understands firsthand how much a trusted primary care physician matters.
