Sharma Atkinson-Staten, APRN, FNP-C

I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing since 2014. My practice experience includes Interventional Cardiology, Family Practice, and most recently, pain management. Prior to this, I practiced as an RN for 20 years in Labor and Delivery, outpatient surgery, gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, home health, and I was also a certified childbirth educator.

I was born in Kentucky and moved to Lake City when I turned 10. I graduated from CHS in 1987 and completed my Bachelor's degree between Brigham Young University in Utah and Rush University in Chicago. Since then, I worked as an RN in the Chicago area, Miami, West Palm Beach, and Jacksonville, FL. My Master's in Nursing was completed at University of South Alabama.

It has been a dream of mine to open my own practice and I look forward to getting to know you and provide you and your family with comprehensive and personalized primary care.
