Dr. Tzvi Bluestone practices direct primary care at Sharon Direct Care in Sharon. After many years in traditional and hospital medicine, he wanted more meaningful encounters with his patients, and that search led him to the direct primary care model.

The appeal was straightforward. Direct primary care gives physicians the time to know their patients well and deliver a higher level of care, and research backs up what he felt firsthand, that patients do better medically when their doctor isn't rushing. He remembers the feeling of moving from room to room without being able to give people the attention they deserved, and that stuck with him.
