William Sawyer, MD

William Sawyer is a board-certified family physician at Sharonville Family Medicine in Sharonville, where he has practiced solo since 1986. He trained at Lake Forest College before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completing his residency in family medicine at University of Cincinnati Hospital. The American Board of Family Physicians certified him the same year he opened his practice, and he later completed a Physician Leadership Program through University of Cincinnati Healthcare.

Beyond his own practice, Sawyer founded Patient's Choice, a 450-physician independent practice association, and later Patient's Personal Choice. He has served on TriHealth's Patient Safety Committee, co-chaired the Ohio Carrier Advisory Committee for Medicare, and held leadership roles with the AMA, AAFP, and OAFP over the course of his career. He has also taught as voluntary faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine since 1987.
