Steven King, DO

Dr. King is committed to providing highly customized care to help his patients improve and protect their health. By practicing as a direct primary care physician, he ensures that every patient receives the time and attention they need and deserve, whether for routine annual exams, acute medical issues, or ongoing management of specific conditions. He believes in taking a comprehensive approach to practicing medicine and partnering with patients to help them achieve optimal health. While he values standard approaches to medicine and the important role that medications play in managing certain conditions, he keeps an open mind about other modalities, supplements, and alternative therapies that may be beneficial to his patients. He also recognizes the role that healthy eating and regular exercise play in overall health and works collaboratively with his patients to help them reduce their reliance on medications where possible. His ultimate goal is to help each patient optimize their health and lead a fulfilling, active life. Dr. King completed his medical school training in Fort Worth, Texas, and Family Medicine Residency in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He then spent an extra year of training in Primary Care Sports Medicine in Toledo, Ohio. He had the opportunity to train under a USA Olympic team physician and treat athletes of all skill levels including aspiring Olympians. Before opening Simple Primary Care Solutions, he ran his own practice, which received The Edmond Sun Family Practice of the Year award in 2006 and 2008.
