Paula Dygert, MD

Simplicity Direct Care in Spokane is led by Dr. Paula Dygert, who spent her early years practicing medicine alongside her father in a small-town setting. Working together, they got to know their patients well and could tailor care to each person's needs, an approach that shaped how she practices today.

After moving to the West Coast and working in several other primary care settings, Paula realized that opening her own direct practice was the only way to give patients the time she felt was essential to doing right by them. That belief led her to found Simplicity Direct Care.

Her passion for medicine pushed her toward a dual certification program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and that broad training still shows in how she treats patients today, as whole people rather than a list of symptoms. Holistic, evidence-based care is the idea she built the practice around.
