I was born and raised on a small family farm outside of Avella in Washington County, PA. I graduated cum laude from Allegheny College in 2002 majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Music. In 2006, I earned my Doctorate of Osteopathy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. We moved to Allentown, PA where we completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine in 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Matt and I have been happily married since 2007 and are blessed with two beautiful boys. My sons are my greatest joy in life. In my spare time, I love cooking, playing the piano and watching my sons play sports.
I worked as a hospitalist for 6 years before transitioning to an outpatient internal medicine office in 2015. Employed physicians are pressured to see more patients in less time to maximize profits. Additionally, we are tasked with an overwhelming amount of non-clinical, administrative work that has less to do with taking care of patients and more to do with data entry and checking regulatory boxes.
My mission is to build a medical practice that simplifies the delivery of healthcare and restores the trusted physician-patient relationship. Simplicity DPC will provide high quality, personalized care to patients of all income levels, regardless of insurance coverage, while keeping overall medical costs low.
