She grew up in Irvine. She trained in high-acuity clinical settings and served in community health centers, academic medical environments, and under-resourced practices - places where she learned to think fast, look deeper, and never dismiss what a patient was telling her.
Along the way, she was awarded the Diamond Doc Award for exceptional patient experience, a distinction voted on by her patients.
When she became a mother, she encountered the healthcare system the way her patients do — from the other side of the exam table. The postpartum period alone showed her how quickly women are left without answers, support, or anyone willing to slow down long enough to actually help.
That experience didn't just deepen her empathy, it sharpened her clinical instincts around hormonal health, maternal care, and the kind of gaps that leave otherwise healthy people feeling like they're falling apart.
She founded Solace Primary Care because she wanted to practice medicine the way she always believed it should be done.
Her patients come to her having tried other things. They've had labs come back normal while still feeling terrible. They've been handed prescriptions for problems that were never actually investigated. They've spent years being told their symptoms are stress or age or something they just have to manage. Dr. Khan's approach is different: she looks at the full picture - hormones, metabolism, sleep, lifestyle, history - and she builds a plan around your actual life, not a generic protocol.
Families who join Solace often say the same thing: they didn't know it could feel like this. One doctor, who knows all of them, reachable when they need her, and genuinely invested in what happens next.
