Dr. Jacqueline Gierer, DO, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Sound Internal Medicine in Beverly Hills. She earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Beaumont Royal Oak, later serving as chief resident and joining the hospital's clinical faculty.
Her patients have consistently ranked her among Beaumont Health's top physicians, and her peers named her one of Hour Detroit's Top Docs. She also founded a specialty maternal medicine clinic with Beaumont's Maternal Fetal Medicine department, caring for women through complicated pregnancies and the fourth trimester in one of only a few programs of its kind in the country. She has taught as an assistant professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and was voted best clinical educator by her residents.
Dr. Gierer and her husband are kept busy by their two young sons. When time allows, she likes to run the local trails and try out new recipes, even the ones her kids refuse to eat.
