Maribel Dixon, MSN, APRN FNP-C

Maribel Dixon is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at South Beach Wellness Center in Lutz, bilingual and practicing autonomously. She earned her board certification in Family Medicine through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in family practice from South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau. Five years spent working alongside an internal medicine doctor in New Port Richey gave her a strong foundation in chronic disease management. Since November 2012 she has practiced across the Tampa Bay area, including time teaching registered nurses at Rasmussen College and precepting nurse practitioners in the community.

Dixon listens closely to her patients and brings them into the decision-making process rather than dictating care. Drawing on her internal medicine background, she manages complex conditions and diagnoses and treats illness. Routine visits and preventive care remain central to how she treats patients in Tampa and Lutz.
