Kansas Sparks, DO

Dr. Kansas Sparks is a board-certified family medicine physician at Sparks Health in Tallahassee.

A native of Tennessee, she earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Tennessee before completing her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She trained in family medicine at St. Petersburg General Hospital in Florida, where she served as co-chief resident. From there she went on to care for veterans through the Veterans Health Administration, eventually rising to Chief of Primary Care and later Chief Medical Officer. She has now practiced direct primary care for more than two years and enjoys seeing patients of every age, from children through adults.

Her husband joins her on regular trips to the mountains and the beach, though she is just as happy taking in the view at home. She also spends time with her hands in the soil, tending her garden and the family berry farm.
