Dr. Sparks is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician.
Born and raised in Tennessee, she is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science.
She completed her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
She completed her Family Medicine residency training at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
During her medical training, she was co-Chief Resident of her program.
Afterward, Dr. Sparks went on to provide primary care services to Veterans at The Veterans Health Administration.
While at the VA she served as both a Chief of Primary Care and later as a Chief Medical Officer.
She has had an active role in direct primary care for over 2 years.
She enjoys working with both children and adults of all ages.
When not practicing medicine, you will find her enjoying the view with her husband in the mountains, at the beach, or even at home.
Her down time is also well spent with her hands in the soil, working in her garden or at the family berry farm.
