Dr. Sanad AlShareef is the founder of Specialized Clinic in Saint Augustine, a direct primary care practice she started after years working inside a system built around insurance billing and productivity metrics. She kept seeing the same scene repeat itself, a crowded waiting room, a rushed seven-minute visit, a doctor clicking through boxes while a patient sat unheard, and eventually walked away from it.

Her conviction is simple. A primary care physician should help patients understand their health, meet their goals, and genuinely improve their wellbeing, not spend the visit coding diagnoses for a third party.
