Stephen Smiley, MD

Stephen Smiley, MD is board-certified in family medicine and practices at Stephen Smiley, MD, Direct Primary Care in Kennewick. A Tri-Cities native, he is glad to be serving the community he grew up in.

Before medicine, Smiley earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and went into national defense work. He spent five years with the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. He later went back to school, graduating from Duke University School of Medicine in 2018 and going on to become board-certified in Family Medicine.

That path back to his hometown means Smiley brings a mix of real-world experience and formal medical training to his patients, along with the local roots of someone who already knows the community he serves.
