Dr. Jodi Stutts, M.D. began her career with Carolinas Healthcare (currently Atrium) in Lincolnton, NC in 2006, where she loved the small town feel of medicine and primary care.
She worked there until 2013, when she took nine months off to care for her two babies at home. Though she loved being a stay-at-home mom, she missed her role as a physician.
In 2016, she joined Iredell Family Medicine with Iredell Health Systems in Mooresville, NC as a corporate physician, but felt the need to pursue a career without the constraints of the corporate healthcare world.
Dr. Stutts graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in 1999 and earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida Medical School in 2003.
She completed her residency through the Wake Forest University Family Medicine Residency program and became board certified in Family Medicine in 2006.
Dr. Stutts currently lives in Mooresville, NC with her husband Jayson, two daughters Avery (age 12) and Emmy (age 10), and two five-year-old Golden Retrievers named Hallie and Gracie.
She enjoys spending time with her family at volleyball games, summertime boating on the lake, being active in her church, and spending quality time with friends. She has a passion for medicine, is a lifelong learner, and absolutely loves being a doctor.
