Dr. Kyle Severinsen is a board-certified internal medicine physician and the founder of Summit Health and Wellness in Hayden. He studied psychology and pre-med as an undergraduate at the University of Utah, then earned a Master of Public Health from Touro University. His medical degree came from the University of Queensland School of Medicine, and he completed his internal medicine residency through the University of Washington's Boise program, where he focused on complex disease management and transitional care. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
His approach centers on listening first, explaining things clearly, and building treatment plans around each patient's own goals rather than a one-size-fits-all checklist.
A husband and father of four, Severinsen spends much of his free time outdoors, especially hunting, which he says keeps him grounded. He also stays active in public health outreach and wellness initiatives around Hayden and the surrounding North Idaho communities.
