Bethany Sweet, MD

Dr. Bethany Sweet is a family medicine physician and the founder of Sweet Life Wellness Direct Primary Care & Aesthetics in Lacey, Washington. She has practiced family medicine for more than seventeen years, and she opened her direct primary care practice to give patients more time with their doctor and a real partnership in their own care.

She grew up in Tenino, Washington, then headed to Brigham Young University-Hawaii for her undergraduate degree. The next four years took her to Be'er Sheva, Israel, where she earned her medical degree, before she came home to finish her family medicine residency at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. After residency she spent more than fourteen years in private practice in Yelm before opening her own solo office.

She sees a good doctor as someone who partners with patients rather than simply treating them, and that belief is what shaped the practice she built.
