Felecia Sumner, DO

Dr. Felecia Sumner, DO, is a family medicine physician at Synergize DPC in Lansdowne. She was drawn to medicine after watching her own family navigate a healthcare system that treated people like numbers, and that experience still shapes her practice today.

A Philadelphia native, Sumner has spent most of her life in the city and nearby suburbs. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology and pre-medicine from Saint Joseph's University, then went on to medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at Crozer-Keystone in Delaware County, where she was known for her dedication to the community, and has since practiced in the Philadelphia area and in rural Georgia.

Sumner met her husband, Doyne, in college, and the two have been together ever since, raising three children. In her free time she enjoys singing, cooking, reading, and taking day trips to new and random places.
