Dr. Tara Tarantino is a board-certified Family Medicine physician offering personalized, holistic, and preventive primary care for adolescents through seniors. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered medicine, focusing on whole-person wellness, long-term health, and meaningful doctor–patient partnerships.
In 2025, Dr. Tarantino founded her independent medical practice, and in 2026 transitioned to the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. By eliminating insurance-driven barriers, DPC allows for longer appointments, direct access, and evidence-based care tailored to each patient—without the rush of traditional healthcare. This model restores accessibility, continuity, and trust to the practice of medicine.
Dr. Tarantino earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her internship at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, and her residency at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital in Queens. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and integrates Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) to support comprehensive, whole-person care.
