About Zachary Taylor

Zachary Taylor is a family medicine physician at Tejas Direct Primary Care in San Antonio. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio and completed his residency through the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program, after studying theology as an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame.

A summer spent working alongside Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India, helped steer Taylor toward medicine after he had once considered the priesthood. What he values most in practice is building long-term relationships with patients and caring for multiple generations of the same family, and he hopes patients leave his office having laughed as much as they've gained confidence in their care plan.

Taylor and his wife are raising two young daughters and call San Antonio home.
