Heather Linder, MD

Dr. Heather Linder is a board certified functional medicine physician at Telluride Whole Health in Telluride, Colorado. She holds the Functional Medicine Certified Professional credential through the Institute for Functional Medicine, a distinction held by only a handful of providers on Colorado's Western Slope.

Heather has practiced in San Miguel County for the past seven years, starting at Telluride Medical Center before spending five years as chief medical officer at Uncompahgre Medical Center, where the clinic earned a national HRSA quality award in 2019 under her leadership. She's moving into direct primary care to spend more time with each patient and get to the root of what's actually going on with them, leaning on nutrition, exercise, and mind-body medicine along the way. Her practice covers the full range of family medicine, from pediatrics through women's health to geriatric care, and she's looking forward to trading paperwork and a long commute for more time with her own kids.

Hiking, running, skiing, and swimming round out her time away from the clinic, usually with her family in tow.
