Richard Rawson, DO

Richard Rawson, DO, is a board-certified osteopathic physician and surgeon offering concierge primary care at Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California, one of the first direct care practices in the country.

A Southern California native, Rawson grew up in Mission Viejo before studying exercise physiology at Brigham Young University. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa and completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. His service included a 2012 to 2013 deployment to Afghanistan as squadron surgeon for the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, work that earned him a Bronze Star. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and sees patients in both English and Spanish.

Rawson roots for the Lakers, Cowboys, Angels, and Dodgers, and he makes spending time with family a priority. He supports causes including Wounded Marine and Operation Underground.
