Stacey Searson, MD

Dr. Stacey Searson is a board-certified family physician at The Art of Health in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she attended the University of Notre Dame before returning home for medical school, then moved to Charlotte in 2002 for family medicine residency at what was then Carolinas Healthcare System, now Atrium Health. She went on to complete a Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill and pursued additional training in integrative medicine.

For ten years she served as Director of Maternal Child Health in the Department of Family Medicine, caring for patients from before birth into their nineties and teaching residents the fundamentals of women's health, maternity care, and pediatrics. She was present for hundreds of deliveries and watched many of those babies grow into their teenage years. Over the past decade her focus has shifted toward lifestyle medicine and wellness, and she has sought out further training in integrative nutrition and wellness coaching.

She and her husband share their home with two children and two English labradors, and she likes to spend her free time traveling, being outdoors, and painting.
