Pamela Gaudry, MD, or "Dr. Pam" as she's affectionately known to her patients, has been practicing in Savannah for 33 years. She is an OB/GYN by training and had always done her female patient's primary care since she completed her residency at The Medical College of Georgia in 1993.
In 2007, she stopped practicing obstetrics due to her late husband's illness. Dr. Pam developed a large gynecology practice and got extra training in menopausal medicine and intimacy counseling. Her goal was to help women get through menopause safely, sanely, and well-educated.
In January 2018, Dr. Pam branched out again and opened up "The Georgia Center for Menopausal Medicine and Direct Primary Care." Direct Primary Care is a new type of health-care practice which puts the patient first.
In this practice, the patient must think of healthcare differently – they are part of her medical family. In Direct Primary Care, the patient "employs" the physician to be there when they need them...not when it is convenient for the physician to fit the patient into the schedule.
In October of 2020, Dr. Pam opened her practice to primary care for men. This type of practice has the same benefits of a 'concierge practice' without using insurance. At her unique Direct Primary Care practice, Dr. Pam offers hour-long appointments in a calm and comfortable setting allowing her patients to address as many medical issues as they want.
In April 2024, Dr. Pam sold her practice and joined Coastal Care Partners and brought her patients to their practice.
