Dr. Beckenhauer is known by almost all of her patients as Dr. B. She grew up in a small, rural Nebraska town called Ashland. She completed her Osteopathic medical degree at KCUMB in Kansas City from 2004-2008. She then moved to Lincoln, NE to finish three years of Family Medicine Residency from 2008-2011. In July of 2011, she began working as a Rural Family Medicine Physician. She has experience in full scope Family Medicine, caring for individuals from newborn to geriatric, ER or Clinic settings, Prenatal Care, Deliveries (Cesarean or Vaginal), and various procedures. She has served as the Medical Director of the MCH Emergency Room and the Blair Clinic, as well as Medical Staff President. She is a Board Member of the Direct Primary Care Alliance and the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians. She has served as Faculty of Nebraska Medicine: Clarkson Family Medicine Program and has completed courses for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
