Chaylah Lomotey, MD, MPH

Chaylah Lomotey MD/MPH is a board certified family practice physician. She was born in Connecticut but spent many of her childhood years in Texas.

She attended undergraduate college at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts and earned her BS in Health Science with a minor in religion. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine while simultaneously getting her masters degree in public health. She did her residency at Valley Baptist Family practice in Harlingen, Texas.

After residency she worked as an immigration doctor and then at a rural family medicine clinic, where she further developed skills in family medical care. She has been serving the New Braunfels Community working in Urgent Care since 2013.

Dr. Lomotey has travelled internationally, lived and did mission work in Romania, did public health work and research in Haiti, and medical mission work in Ghana. On her days off she homeschools children and likes to spend her free time with her husband and kids–enjoying the beauty of God's natural world, walking, and participating in her local church. She is passionate about providing superior care to every patient.
