Nick Krawczyk, MD

Nick Krawczyk is a board certified family medicine physician at Torrey Pines Direct Primary Care in Northfield, Minnesota, with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients of all ages.

Before medical school at the University of Minnesota, he worked as a paramedic in Northfield, experience he has carried with him ever since. His first job as a physician took him to Cannon Falls, where he covered the emergency room and cared for patients in the hospital and nursing home, though the clinic was always his favorite part of the work. He married Nicole in 2011 and the couple spent a year in Stillwater before missing small town life enough to move back to Northfield, the place he had always pictured himself practicing family medicine.

He spent the last decade at a clinic in Farmington, where his greatest reward was the close relationships he built with patients, relationships the fee for service system rarely left him enough time to fully nurture. Years of late nights spent on paperwork eventually led him to direct primary care, a model that lets him practice the same evidence based medicine while finally having time for both his patients and his family.
