In 2014, frustrated by the failings of traditional medicine, Dr. Ponnuru converted his practice to a new model called Total Primary Care. Under this direct care approach Dr. Ponnuru is able to be the kind of doctor he intended to be. With reduced overhead expenses, freedom from insurance company interference, and the ability to see patients when they need for as long as they need, Dr. Ponnuru can now focus on developing a partnership with patients to focus on communication, collaboration and wellness for the whole person.
