Brian Crownover, MD

Dr. Brian Crownover is a board-certified family medicine physician at Treasure Valley Family Medicine in Meridian. A San Diego native, he was commissioned through the USAF Academy in 1989 after graduating magna cum laude, then earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his family practice residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in 1996.

His military career took him around the world, including a deployment to Balad Air Base in Iraq, where he earned the Bronze Star for leading the launch of Air Force medical services at the primary air hub in theater. He went on to lead a new Family Medicine residency at Nellis Air Force Base and served twice as a residency program director between 2005 and 2013.

After 20 years delivering babies and providing inpatient and ICU care, he now focuses on running an independent outpatient practice. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, tending gardens and fruit tree orchards, and the occasional fishing or hunting trip.
